Our annual event will be here in no time!
Our IIAC event will be back at the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum (CTOM) again in 2024! Our organization was thrilled with the fantastic turnout and support at this new venue in 2022. More than 14,000 visitors (twice what we have seen before) from all over Texas and across the Nation came out for this authentic, family-friendly, interactive learning & cultural experience. Many of the public shared it was their first up-close glimpse into indigenous cultures. Your participation is vital to help us bring this authentic and unique experience to thousands of people.
With your 2023/24 contribution, we anticipate doubling the number of participants and visitors!!! Community Partners will be honored and recognized at our event based on the levels below. Also, your partnership will be promoted by our organization year-round, not just this single event. We share your information and promote you on our website and social media pages and at some in-person educational events throughout the year.
Who attends our event:
Our event is not just for Native people. We gear everything so the public feels welcome to watch, listen and participate. We want the public to experience the excitement of a pow-wow, taste indigenous foods, and learn traditional crafts. We especially welcome the veterans in our Community Partner’s groups to join us for the opening ceremony Saturday morning so that we can honor their service to our country. This is what sets us apart from other cultural events in Texas. We want and welcome the public to attend our event.
